Our team at Vibe Residential knows how much young people use their phones these days. Just walking around Boston Common today, almost everyone was either looking at their phone or at least had it in their hand. Since technology and social media are not going away any time soon, we figured why not make getting an apartment a fun, smooth and simple application someone can download on their phone. Bored at Starbucks? Do some searching for a roommate. Walking to class? Think of what neighborhood you could see yourself living in.
Our Vibe App is hopefully going to launch early September, and we cannot wait for students and young professionals to download it and start their searching. We plan on setting up forms as well for people searching for apartments to fill out as well, but if using technology and social media on your phone is more up your alley, this will be the easiest way to find your spot.
How does it work? You filter out how many bedrooms you want, if you want a roommate/how many roommates, the neighborhood, the price range, so on and so forth. Within seconds you can narrow your search results from 1000 listings to 12 listings that you would like to tour with us. It eases the transition to the “adulting” time period of your life, by giving you a format you’ve seen before and already know how to navigate. You can even send messages directly from the app in order to reach out to that potential roommate, and see the exact dates you could potentially rent your place. We’ve thought of it all on this app, and want to make sure every question is answered.
In conjunction with forms we will solicit to those who are more interested in using a computer or hand written filters, our hope is to connect to all students and professionals by offering different outlets to ease renting process. With The Vibe App, it will be that much easier to find your spot.
